Florida Panthers Prospects Visit Local Children

The Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers hosted 39 prospects, including their most recent NHL draft picks, in South Florida for a development camp. The camp aims to help the players grow on and off the ice and familiarize them with the South Florida community. During their time in South Florida, they visited the Jack & Jill Center in Fort Lauderdale, the oldest nonprofit organization offering early childhood education in Broward County. The players engaged in a variety of activities with students from Jack & Jill Center’s Early Education program and Elementary School, which included food-themed projects and STEAM activities. The players also joined the students in playing a few games of floorball hockey.
